Ujjivan Small Finance Bank dividend

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank annnounces a final dividend of Rs. 1.5/share. The stock gave a return of 34% in a year

On  May 18, 2024, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank declared a final dividend of Rs. 1.5/share for the FY 23-24. This dividend amounts to 15% of the Face Value (₹ 10) of the company.

Record & Payment Date

The Record Date for the final dividend of Rs. 1.5/share is Friday, July 12, 2024 & the Payment Date of the dividend is August 25, 2024.

Anybody who wants to get the dividend must purchase the shares on/before 11 July, 2024 to get themselves resister in the record of the eligible receivers of the dividend.

The persons who bought the shares solely for the purpose of dividend can sell the shares on the record date i.e. on 12 July, 2024 and still they will be eligible to receive the dividend as their name would have been registered on 11 July, 2024.
It is to be noted that on the record date, the share price of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank may fall by the dividend amount i.e it can fall by Rs 1.5 in the opening session to adjust its price to ex-dividend.

So investors are adviced to make their decision wisely.

Between March 2023 and March 2024, the company saw significant growth. Revenue increased by about 36% from 4,165 to 5,677 crore. Net profit also rose by around 17%, going from 1,100 to 1,282 crore. This shows the company’s strong performance over the year.
FII’s have also increased their stake from 3.48% to 26.96% in FY23-24.
