Godawari Power & Ispat Buyback 2024

June 15, 2024 , the Board of Directors of the Godawari Power & Ispat Limited announced the Buyback of up to 21,50,000 (Twenty One Lakh Fifty Thousand) fully paid-up equity shares having face value of Rs. 5 (Rupees Five only) each, representing up to 1.64% of the total number of Equity Shares in the paid-up equity share capital of the Company as on March 31, 2024  at a price of Rs.1400 (Rupees One Thousand Four Hundred only) per Equity Share .The total Buyback size is Rs.301.00 Crores .

The Record Date for the purpose of Buyback is set on Friday, June 28, 2024 .

It is to be noted that the Current Market Price of the shares of Godawari Power & Ispat is Rs.1078.85 (as on 14/06/2024). The Buyback price is set to Rs.1400 ,which amounts to a profit of approx Rs.300 from the current market price.

THIS is the second Buyback by the company after March 31, 2023 .

Earlier on  March 31, 2023, the Company offered to buyback up to 50,00,000 (fifty lakhs) fully paid-up equity shares of face value of ₹5 each of the company (“equity shares”), representing up to 3.66% of the total number of equity shares .The buyback was done at a price of ₹500.
