Tesla Optimus, also known as the Tesla Bot, is a general-purpose humanoid robot developed by Tesla,Inc . It was announced at the company’s Artificial Intelligence Day event on August 19,2021 and a prototype was shown in 2022. The Optimus became a reality and is launched on 11,October,2024 .

Tesla Optimus key features and capabilities:

• Humanoid Design : Optimus resembles a human in appearance with two arms, legs and a head. This helps it to interact with the environment and perform tasks similarly to humans.
• Advanced AI : Optimus is powered by Tesla’s Full Self Driving (FSD) computer, which is also used in Tesla’s cars. This allows it to perceive its surroundings, make decisions and learn from experience.
• General-purpose task :  Optimus will be able to perform a wide range of task such as running ,doing chores, singing, pet care, and even working in factories. It can perform a bunch of activities which a normal person does .
•  Safety features : Optimus is designed with safety in mind and Tesla has implemented various features to ensure human safety.
• Potential applications :  Optimus could have a variety of applications , including in manufacturing, logistics , and even as a personal assistant.
